The goal is to eventually publish a series of cookbooks containing these yummy recipes ... which are all authentic Ukrainian recipes. That is a ginormous undertaking and I don't have any kind of a timeline on that yet. At the moment it is still a cherished dream.
Still it is a dream I intend to come true. I'm currently working on a collection of Sylvia's recipes, and will be starting to do the same with Judy's from when she was with Nash Holos ... and perhaps others that she would like to share.
And of course there is the wonderful historical project of translating and sharing the 1929 cookbook of Olha Senatowych, "Galician Kitchen."
For starters, because *everyone* loves perogies, I'm going to start with a couple of perogy recipes that Judy shared. More to come so check back often!
Perogies:
Ribbon Perogies – This is for busy perogy-lovers who don't want to bother with preparing filling and pinching them!

Hi my name is Tim Louzonis and I'm an American with Ukrainian roots, who has been living in Lviv for almost 3 years now.
I saw the post about the translation project of the Galician Kitchen....and would love to learn more about it. For example, when will it be completed? Will it be available for purchase?
My Ukrainian partner and I are developing an informational web portal about Lviv and could help support and promote the project.
Can you put me in touch with the translator?
Please contact me at TLouzonis@gmail.com or tim@lvivalive.com.
Дякую.
Thanks for the comment, Tim ... and your interes!
I've emailed you and am just waiting for your reply.
